On Evolution
My theory on evolution is based on the fact that energy is neither created nor destroyed. According to our faithful Wikipedia, this concept was developed as long ago as Thales of Miletus (pronounced "THEH-leez") , ca. 624 BC–ca. 546 BC), and proved again and again throughout history.
Since energy is neither created nor destroyed—a proven point of physics—and the human body is not much more than water, tissue, a little mucous membrane and bone, but primarily energy, then where does the energy go when a person dies, if it is neither created nor destroyed?? Good question. My theory is that it simply dissipates into the universe, thus "re-energizing" the atmosphere, which in turn energizes the human, who in turn procreates to "energize" another human—a baby. We are little more than recycled energy. Is this our "soul?"
I also theorize that the evolution of man has been a process of the recycling of this energy, and eventually, maybe in millions of years (who knows?) that the human body will no longer exist, but the atmosphere/universe will be populated by "swirling masses of energy" that communicate through the passing of energy fields (neutrons, protons, electrons?) back and forth. How and what they will communicate is unclear to me. Will they be governed? Will there be "colonies" of "masses?" Will they still war? Will they die or be destroyed (remember, energy can be neither created nor destroyed)? They can't be "destroyed." Will they simply dissipate? Will they "join" and become larger masses? Will they separate and become smaller masses? Will they even communicate? Questions, questions...
The questions that arise from this can go on and on, each having its own discourse of theory. My theory, at this point, deals primarily with the actual evolution of the physical body.
The issue of procreation seems easy, with a "section" of energy breaking away from the "parent" mass to form a new mass. The questions raised here are: Will there be male and female energy masses? Will these entities be pure genetics? And will these masses need to physically interact to reproduce? Will they even reproduce? Energy is neither created nor destroyed. Will it all be "in use" at this stage of the universe? Is it all "in use" now? What about the universe? Will Earth be like one of the other planets, simply orbiting around the sun, a "dead" planet? Are these swirling masses of energy already in existence as "extra-terrestrial beings?"
This is boggling my mind here. Too much to think about. I could spend the rest of my life developing this theory comprehensively. If I could survive by thinking alone, it would be tempting. However, at this point in time, bodies need nourishment to continue to live in the material world. I can't depend on the power lines adjacent to my property to keep me alive...back to the initial theory at hand.
The human body is little more than a hindrance to the mind. I truly believe that the mind (which is where the energy is primarily stored) is developing and evolving so quickly (it's obvious in the advances we see in science just in our short lifetimes) that one day telepathy will be the primary means of communication. Definitely not in our life times, nor in our children's children's children's, is it likely, but eventually it may come to pass. (Does this sound like a Moody Blues album?? : )
There is a very strong possibility that our beautiful heaven/hell of earth won't exist either. Humans are rapidly destroying the natural resources to be able to survive as humans, and when the resources run out, the body is going to have to adapt to the environment to survive.
I don't believe the human will digress into fish to live in the water, but I do believe the body will adapt to be able to survive on less oxygen and other essential elements needed for the human tissue to survive. Living matter has demonstrated this over the millions of years in the history of evolution. Everything adapts to its environment. Survival of the fittest...Darwin hit it right on, in my opinion.
Someday the human body will not be "fit" to survive on earth, but more advanced "beings" will survive. Energy... I think these "cyborgs" will be seen developing as time goes on. As I said, not for a long, long time, but I think that it will happen. Already we are seeing mechanical beings developed and integrated among us. So much goes on behind the scenes of our reality (and reality is merely perception, but that's a whole other discourse).
