The Y is need of committee members to help with fund raising opportunities, special events, promoting diversity in the community, and the continued effort to keep the agency running smoothly.
This may be an opportunity for Temporary Assistance To Needy Families (TANF) formally Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) recipients to satisfy their 20 hours of volunteer/work time a week requirement. The YWCA also offers child care for children five and under for a fee.
